William, Timothy, and Donald find themselves in terrible trouble. The Dark and vicious Creature with long blades on the end of a shiny rake are out to kill them in the small town of Wichita City. The Dark Creature is very hideous and it wants them dead. William's mother is in disbelief of what he is telling her, so she brushes it off. William nor Timothy will not give up on the battle they have with The Dark Creature. William hurries off to school one morning realizing The Dark Creature may have been inside his house in his mother's upstairs bedroom window. He tells his best friends Timothy and Donald who are brothers what he thought he saw, and they believed him because The Dark Creature was in their house as well.
